Does it cover gray? And will it wash out of bleached hair?

Our salon used to carry Colourshines. We all HATED them! I had one put on my hair and later was paying the price when we put in some bleach highlights and all colors of the rainbow showed up! It was awful! The product itself is ok to start with, but it does not come out very easily - and the gray coverage is lacking.
We use Aveda's demi-permanent line, which has really nice gray coverage. It lasts a longer amount of time, almost to where it's like permanent color, but it does soften a bit as you wear it so the line of demarcation from the colored hair and your outgrowth with be much less than with permanent color. It will slowly fade out of bleached hair, but more quickly than hair that has not been bleached. Hope this helps!
