Whenever I have a problem, I tell them to God. And every single request has been answered by God. I dint realize it was God answering them and thought it was co-incidence.But recently I've received God's gift of Holy Spirit, which Jesus said He will send many years back. So now I know that all the time God was so much near and I could not understand.
Please do ask God to help you in finding Him. I know how we think, God is not there (or) that He cant see (or) hurt Him with our words. But He is surely there. We were born few years back and are going to live in this world for sometime and then will be no more. So why not take some time that God has given, to just tell Him that you would like to know Him.He can be the bestest friend ever unlike people who hurt us even when we try to love them, God's love doesn't change like that.

Brinda, GOOD FOR YOU!!! But honestly, did you ever think that maybe your own will power is what helped you through the years and gave you the insight of what you needed? I am sorry, but I too was brought up Christian, actually Catholic, and I can remember the nuns teaching me about how great and holy I will feel when I receive communion for the first time --I was 8 years old--and I watched the children in front of me receiving and they all had smiles on their face after receiving and then it was my turn, and guess what? I felt NOTHING-- no magical feeling, no cleansing, no big smile on my face and from that moment on I have questioned faith in anything that I cannot see, feel or truly hear. IF I wasn't brainwashed that eating meat on Friday would send me to hell for eternity, and then one day, a HUMAN states that it is OK to eat meat, this just made me more insane about the Christian's beliefs-- and then there was going to church on Sundays-- and I know you KNOW the answer to that--- so tell me, why is it ok for a human to change the rules that would send us to hell for eternal damnation ??? I never recovered from those betrayals of truths--afterall, I almost drowned in the bathtub at the age of 7 because a nun drilled it into our heads that it was evil and a mortal sin to look at our naked bodies..........amen.

Of course there is. First of all humans did not create the sun earth and such but we did create problems. As soooo many self help books and speakers say You can't get there from here you have to change something. We all have a basic need to feel someone is watching us. God is my God and Jesus is my savior and I believe they are the only way any problems in my life get solved cause I am only human and I know a power greater than me guides me when I would love to smack someone and when I could take my car and run over the person in front of me but I don't do these things because God makes me see that being petty is only human and He wants me to let him guide me to a much more peaceful life.
