How can I get hange nails to go away?

Why does a doctor need to answer this one when cosmetologist go to school just to learn all about this kind of problem? You need to snip them off slose to the end and then keep the area well mosturized.

Any good nurse can give you just as good an answer, seeing as that the Doc usually has us deal with this problem anyway, while he charges you $500 to just grace you with his presence. Keep the nail neatly trimmed, straight across, NOT curved. Keep the nail clean and moisturized until the damaged part of the nail grows completely free of the quick, and maintain the even across cut. Never, ever cut your nails curved, as this will cause an even worse problem that would require surgery: an ingrown toenail, and that is very painful.
