The republicans in control of the white house and the media are the ones adding to this huge problem. Neither religion is a problem, its the extremists in any religion that do it. Extremists Muslims kill people as do extremists christians who control the Republican Party and spread the "fear" of muslims to control society.

When you read history you find that the Roman empire had the greatest power over nations, both in religion and government.I don't believe that it's fair to say that Christians relate Islam with violence. The 911 incident brought forth fear for people all around the world.

Great answer Earl! Spanish Conquistadors are considered white? News to me. While it is true that the Roman Catholic church has a remarkable history of terrorism, it usually involved groups that desisted with the Pope, See also Anabaptist, Quakers, Mennonites, Huguenots, Martin Luther etc...
Fact is Islam is only spread when one looks at world history through violence and the sword. Ever hear of the Turks, the Ottoman Empire. Try pulling your bible out in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq. Look at all the violence done in the world via Islamic "terrorist" Last time I checked it wasn't Catholics, Jews, Baptist, Lutherans, Pentecostals who flew hijacked jets into the WTC. You are believing false history. Christians were murdered for their faith in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.
Territories were won for Christ initially (through preaching the Good News), but Muslims took over (how they did in their records & Holy Books). The Roman Catholic church didn't know who their enemies were. And some were corrupt. But you will find Christian Mosaics, etc. found under or around current old Mosques. Christianity started when Christ raised from the dead & many became Christian. Jesus Christ raised from the dead before Mohammed denied Him & started his own religion.
Some of the first Christians was northern Iraq.
Jesus never led anyone to murder others, but to preach the Good News of Redemption through what Christ did, to all the world. And that is being accomplished as a sign that Jesus Christ is Lord and returning soon.
How many times are there believers in Christ violent with any one, except some are violent to reach Christ & His presence. Or just go preach Jesus to those countries that leaders say no to Jesus in. Jesus says that those countries that say they don't want Him. Will that stop Him? Will that stop Him from entering those countries and revealing His truth to them. No it will not stop Jesus. Jesus goes where He wants to go.
Just like the soldier in Iraq crying out to Jesus, Praying, "Am I fighting in this war in vain? I am doing this for nothing? Will I die in vain?". Will Jesus turn away from the one calling out His name? No, Jesus will not turn away from anyone who calls on His name. We are to pray for our military. And pray for them by force and unity as necessary.

Oh don't you realize when a Christian does it then it is showing the love of their God and how holy they are. When a Muslim does it they are an evil terrorist. Doesn't matter that both are doing the exact same thing!!

Yes, but they don't want to remember that. They just want someone to throw their hatred at. They use Islam as a scapegoat to feel superior. Christianity has a long history of having to be the "only" way, and any religion that threatens that is "wrong."

Christians seem to be the most judgemental i have found. if you read the Bible and the Koran you would see that these books and it's teachings are very similar. But many who read the bible have yet to read the koran, and therefore judge those they are unknowledgable about. It wouldn't be fair to judge christians by the actions of the KKK. It's not fair to judge all muslims by the actions of terrorists.
