I listen to whatever I like. Monks Chanting, Snow Patrol, Enya, Nickelback, etc. Buddhists appreciate all that the world has to offer, and we do not judge others.

Personally, I like anything, but not everything. Duke Ellington said "There's only two kinds of music-good and bad". Any band that is inspired for the sake of making music is good. Most bands that make music for fame and money are bad.

I do seem to enjoy long spontaneous instrumentals. Mostly jazz and some jam bands really explore and create. I think the Grateful Dead is/were an absolutely magical alchemists of sound. I have never heard a band do what they did. They have a bad reputation with society, but that's not fair to their music. They were incredible.

Besides that, I like well written and performed short songs to. Little Umbrellas, by Frank Zappa is a great example of what I'm trying to describe. There's no limit to what I like. If I'm mellowing out and listening to music, I can hear it for what it is. I don't care to categorize or judge.

I pay interest to a smattering of each little thing. Classical, business, New Age (regularly Vangelis, Tomita, Kitaro), Rap, "Rammstein", 50's and 80's track, Enigma, Trance... etc and blah blah blah. What you're searching for is the Tibetan Tantric Chant that I pay interest to besides? this is totally shifting and a sturdy addition on your presentation. exceptionally even as discussing what they're making a track and why they're making a track it that way. _()_

The same music as everyone else.

Buddhism doesn't have a "Market" like Christian contemporary does. The music that may mention buddhism or imply it is simply culturally local entertainment that is sometime used to aid meditation. But not many people will say "I want to listen to chants on my ipod."

My roommates tend to listen to what ever they want. The one next to my room likes turntablism and jazz while there are others into deathmetal and Kraut rock.
