Yes dogs do dream, when you see your dog asleep and his paws are twitching that means in his dream he is running. Its soo cute you should look out for it!

It seems that they do dream. They may make little noises and twitch their feet as if barking and running. I've never had the chance to ask a dog about it, though.
I heard about one dog that had been neglected with a broken leg, that had nightmares even after she was adopted and taken care of. But she was quite happy when she was awake!
I believe they can see some blue and yellow besides black and white, but not red and green.

I was told in my Memory and Cognition course in college two years ago that dogs can see some color, but not the full spectrum. The basic rule of thumb, is that if an animal is colorful, they can see color. Like birds. But if the animal is not colorful, like a dog, then they cannot see the full spectrum. But from what I was told, dogs can see some color. I know this sounds strange, but one of my 4 dogs seems to always pick the toy that is pink. He is a boy, and usually I buy half "boy" toys and half "girl" toys, but when I throw them out on the floor, he seems to ALWAYS go for the pink one. It has become a joke, but he does seem to have a preference for the color, which leads me to believe he can tell a difference between pink and other colors, and not just intensity of hues.

Of course dogs dream! Dreams are just fantasys of the mind and dogs DO have minds! Also, that is a myth that dogs and cats see in black and white. I have done a test on my animals. I threw a bunch of muticolored markers onto the florr a number of times. My cat, Tiger, chased the green marker 3 out of the 4 times. Also, my dog, Chip, chased the blue marker 2 out of the 3 times. I believe that dogs and cats can see colors.

Yes, it is true that dogs lack the part of the eye that distinguishes color. It doesn't seem to slow them down much, however; and they make up for that deficiency by having fine senses of hearing and smell.
It is said that they do display some evidence of "dreaming"; certainly, they display restlessness in their limbs as they sleep. What they dream of isn't really clear, of course. After all, they can't tell us.
