I have a 12 year old Black Lab. He is also eating and drinking a lot lately also. He always does in the winter Months.
He always gets a little heavy, but by the time the weather is nicer he is able to go out side more often and he loses the weight and is back to his normal eating habits.
My dog has regular check ups and gets all his Vaccinations on time.
some dogs eat more if they have worms, so you might check the stool for worms or just take your pet to the vet for a check up.

As long as she's eating as well, it might be ok. Watch her stool and see if it seems changed. If she wasn't eating and drinking more -- that would be a big sign to take her to the vet. What she's doing might be nothing much at all. Still, only feed her the daily recomendations that are on the food bags or cans of dog food. To much could make them overweight and lead to health problems.

How old is your dog and what breed is she? Some breeds are prone to health problems such as diabetes, adrenal disease, thyroid disease, etc. Age can also bring on increased appetite (i.e. puppies vs. adults) and some other illnesses.
A vet visit and some bloodwork can rule out a lot of these potential illnesses

No.. Not really.. Sometimes dogs are just greedy.. If they are playing more than usual, they will eat more..

it sounds like she could be pregnant. Have her checked out by your local vet.
