Revelation chapter 12, the "parenthetical" chapter covering a great expanse of time. At the appointed time yet future but very near Michael will cast Satan to Earth. This is the time of anti-christ. Satan will destroy many with talk of peace, with flatteries and bribery and all manner of deception and great magical feats. There will be a real big religious revival and it will be as a flood overwhelming all mankind.

Also there will be the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, speaking to everyone's ear simultaneously without the need for translation. This will be accomplished principly through the two witnesses. Also the elect, those chosen before the foundation of this age will participate in delivering this outpouring of Truth directly from God.

People will be in the "valley of decision", needing to decide which is true and which is false.

After that the True Christ returns and many will be weeping and gnashing their teeth, having believed the lie and the liar, anti-christ. What will become of the salvation of those who remain wed to the false husband?

Study to show yourselves approved.

Revelation 12.7-9.
Apocalyptic writing often pictures events on earth as having a counterpart in heaven. Thus Christ's victory over Satan in this chapter is reflected in a SYMBOLIC conflict in heaven.
The book of Revelation was written to "console" Christians of the first and second century who were being persecuted by the Roman empire. The message of Revelation to early as well as present day Christians is: Patient endurance is what the Lord requires of us. He alone will win the victory over the forces of evil. And he will surely share his victory with us, if we remain faithful. Revelation was not a book of desolation for the early Christians; neither should it be for us today.
Have a blessed and peaceful day

Revelation 12:7-12
"And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. And the dragon and his angels waged war, and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven.
And the great dragon was thrown down, and the serpent of old who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying;
"Now the salvation, and the power, and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.
And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life, even to the point of death.
For this reason rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time."

It grew to become into definitely extra later after human beings began changing for the duration of the Ceasar era. human beings had a confusing time praising the comparable god that grew to become into to blame for each little thing, the two solid and evil. So an "evil god" grew to become into needed for individuals to blame all the undesirable issues on, at the same time as the god in heaven might desire to take credit for all the solid stuff. the religion could have in no way lasted with out "the devil". humorous how significant devil is to Christianity.

Right here...a daring raid by the Lord God under the nose of the enemy. And the beauty and life-giving nature of woman has been under brutal attack ever since.

Revelation 12
The Woman and the Dragon
1A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads. 4His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born. 5She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. 6The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.
7And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

10Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
"Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Christ.
For the accuser of our brothers,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11They overcame him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.
12Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short."

13When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach. 15Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
