ok if i dont have my cell phone by my side before i go to sleep, i cant go to sleep unless i find it...and if my door is open, i cant go to sleep...

I don't think so. It's just your peace of mind, a comfort thing so you can fall asleep peacefully.

You think that is bad? I rearrange my refrigerator about 20 times a day and no matter what have to have the rug touch the bathtub before I consider getting in and I check it like 50 times. As long as it doesn't take over your life, you are fine.

I do not think so. There is more to it than that. Most ppl have their cells by them. ocd has more than that attached to it. OCD usally goes along with other dissorders. My son is ADHD and he has OCD along with it and i know others who have problems with OCD along with it. Yours sound like just normal attachment to things.

Doesn't sound like OCD to me. OCD affects every part of your day and night. You have rituals for everything. If this is all you do then you are simply precautious.

surely not.. people say i am OCD, becuase im really picky about cleanliness and how things are orderly. i freak out if i dont know where my cell phone is too, so who knows. maybe its jsut a cell phone addiction or a safety thing.. who knows

i think everybody has their own little form of ocd, like i have to be on the computer right now even though i am about to fall over from sleepyness
