We are all born imperfect (or with sin) because of our first human parents Adam & Eve. It's because of their willful disobedience to "God" that we all inherit sin. Too consider yourself evil would imply that you willfully and purposely harm or injure others, which doesnt sound like you do from what you wrote. You may be somewhat selfish in the fact that you have decided that you do not need or want a higher power other than yourself to decide what is best for you. I personally am glad that we as humans have such a written document (the Bible) to teach us about "God's" laws and commandments, because although they may seem burdensome at times, they are actually things that protect us from pain and harm. Satan was the original evil-doer, and we can either choose to follow him (as you can see, most of the"world" does) or, you can choose to follow "Our Heavenly Father". Remember: Father Knows Best

Being "good" or "evil" (that is, compassionate and honorable versus being malicious and dishonorable) has very little to do with belief or non-belief in any God. I think it comes from within a person and is a fundamental part of their character. So as far as I'm concerned, if you're doing good in the world, you're not evil, regardless of your stand on matters of faith.

The choice to be good or evil has nothing to do with believing in god. I'm sure there are many people out there that believe in god but still commit acts that would be considered evil.
Good and god are separate, you do not need one to have the other. If that weren't so, then I would have to say "yes, you are evil."

Yes.
I was like you until I a few weeks ago largely because I never tried to understand it. Then I started to read about my religion(hinduism) or should i say philosophy. There has to be more to life than just living it and having an end after it. I believe in karma and what you do now will affect your afterlife after you get reincarnated or you achieve alvation and you become immortal and there wont be no need for your soul to be part of the endless lifecycle of your body.

You don't believe in Heaven or hell, but you DO believe in good and evil. HMM. Tell me; upon death, where do the Good people go, and where would the evil people go, in YOUR estimation?
Do you know that we're ALL pretty FOUL when judged against the standards of a Perfect, Holy, god? That's why it was ONLY this perfect Holy God, who's perfect Holy Blood would be acceptable to forgive us for our sins. So do "GOOD" people go to heaven?
NO! Only forgiven people! Unforgiven people, if they die refusing forgiveness, no matter how GOOD they appear by OUR standards, will fail to meet God's Holy standards of perfection, and will by their own refusal of forgiveness, sentence themselves to an eternity of paying for their OWN sins in hell. The GOOD NEWS is that the ransom has already been paid in Full, if people would only COME......
"Come unto me all ye that are weary and heavy laden; and I will give ye rest". (Jesus speaking)

Nope. You're perfectly normal. The irrational belief in mythical beings is abnormal.
It used to be ok, I suppose, for people to follow “Pascal's Wager”, and express a belief in these non-existent beings, just to be "safe". But finally, many are realizing just how dangerous religion really is.
Of course, it's easy to see the danger in Islam, but in truth, ALL religions are dangerous. They are also very wasteful of resources that could be better directed to actually doing something useful. And, of course, religion is a complete waste of time. There are no gods, and the sooner we all realize this, the better off we'll all be.

I don't think you're evil at all.
A man rejects God neither because of intellectual demands nor because of the scarcity of evidence. A man rejects God because of a moral resistance that refuses to admit his need for God.

I don't think that you are evil. In order to be considered evil you have to commit an evil act. Not believing in God, to me, is foolish not evil.
