It was up in Colorado just before christmas,
back in 1993.
My husband and I had gone up there for a much needed break. (we both worked long hours) Anyways, there was this big cookout,
and people from all over the ski resort came to it. There were beautiful christmas lights everywhere. The snow was softly falling, and earlier that day I had hired a 'horse drawn sleigh' to show up at 8 and ride us down through town (steamboat springs). My husband new nothing of my plan and was 'deeply' touched by this nice surprise!!
It was 'ssoooo' romantic, wrapped in blankets
with the snow falling, riding through town in a sleigh. The horse had tiny bells on it's harness,
and the jingling just made it even more magical.
We still talk about it, and plan to do it again some day..

well this isn't the most romantic but it is one I will never forget. well I'll say a couple. we went campin together and we cuddled all night and he made us a bench by the river that we would talk on and then we went to a waterfall and took showers in it. COLD! another we saw a back seat of a car sitting on the curb by some grass so we pulled it on to the grass and talked all night just looking up at the moon on this random seat in a persons lawn. it was so romantic cause it was so forbidden. loved it.

It isn't what you do............its who you are with.............If you are with the one you love you could walk through the Dollar Store and it would be romantic............or you could date a guy you don't like and go to the most expensive place and not feel romantic............romance is to love who you are with not what you are doing

I had sent a text message to my x asking him to meet me at our local pub. From there I "picked" him up and took him home to a romantic dinner, a bubble bath for two and made love to him just like he liked.
