Is it a good idea to make up a girlfriend to make some one jealous?

It's not to been mean it is so she will take me seriously when I am over her. She doesn like me in that way and I want her to understand I am moving on. And I am but I still want to be her friend

in my point of view, no. I would HATE it if some guy that I dumped or dumped me made up a fake girl. I have done that once, but because this person wouldn't get off my back of me going out with someone that I wasn't. so I made someone up and said I was I was going out with them and later I said "I am sorry I totally lied like that but you weren't getting off my back and I was getting really annoyed" but I was just being stupid. XD. just if she isnt with you anymore then don't worry about what she thinks, you are obviously a cool person if you think before you act and if she cant accept that then she isn't good enough to be with you.

Yes and No
Yes:If you break up with your so called GF and you act really depressed, the jealous one will know that she has a chance and will make you feel better.
No:If the jealous girl knows you have a GF then she probably won't like you, but she may have deep feelings for you and may take awhile for her to admit her feeling.
