I am wiccan so I have being in the loving arms of my God and Goddess for a while. when I was a child we never went to Church so I did not have to go through all that. Even if I have read the bible and understand it better than most I still follow a more loving path

I should say Christianity is a constant fight, until our death. 11These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. 12So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! 13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. (I Co 10:11-13)

I was about 14 and found out that the Youth Pastor, married with three kids, had been having an affair with the barely 18 Pastor's daughter. Messed up. I have since found Paganism and have recovered quite nicely thank you.

I would not call my discovery of the Gods and Goddesses I now worship as being "saved" from Christianity. Although I have problems with the type of Christian who would say that I was condemned to hell for not believing as they do, I do not see that Christianity is something that if a person who finds fulfillment from it that they need to be "saved" from

After my foolish belief in god nearly ruined my life I hadn't realize that those around me just refused or didn't realize their hypocrisy which left my ingenuous beliefs as foibles to my chagrin . it took me a unbelievable 25 yrs approx. to regain my good sense. Even though as a young child I knew better to begin with the brainwashing had it's toll anyway.
