Lust is sinful, but the bible says that because man is prone to sin he is to have a wife. Even if the man has the wife, does this give the man permission to fully explore his sinful side? That is, should the man lust only for the purpose of procreation or is her permitted to explore exotic sex positions or practices with his wife that borders on homosexuality, e.g. the wife using a strap-on dildo?
I remember Thomas Aquinus saying in Summa Theologica that sex is only to be used for procreation and that any sexual desire that does not result in procreation (e.g. masturbation) is self-indulgent and thus sinful. Is this true? What if you do it under marriage?
To sum it up, is sex for fun sinful, even if you do it with your wife?
