Lust is sinful, but the bible says that because man is prone to sin he is to have a wife. Even if the man has the wife, does this give the man permission to fully explore his sinful side? That is, should the man lust only for the purpose of procreation or is her permitted to explore exotic sex positions or practices with his wife that borders on homosexuality, e.g. the wife using a strap-on dildo?

I remember Thomas Aquinus saying in Summa Theologica that sex is only to be used for procreation and that any sexual desire that does not result in procreation (e.g. masturbation) is self-indulgent and thus sinful. Is this true? What if you do it under marriage?

To sum it up, is sex for fun sinful, even if you do it with your wife?

Lust is inappropriate desire and is always sinful.

Appropriate sexual desire for your spouse is a good and holy thing. It is not sinful.

The Catholic Church does not have an official stance which types of sex are allowable when a man and woman are married as long as it is consensual and done in moderation.

The purpose of God's gift of sex is to bring a husband and wife closer and to create human life.

With love in Christ.

As per Hindu philosophy sex is only for procreation. As an enjoyment even with wife is sin.

Every one has to conserve his semen. If one can retain without wasteful discharge, the Aura of the person will increase and he will come closer to the God.

The Bible clearly teaches that our minds are as important to God as our bodies are and that we are to remain pure in both. Jesus said, "You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery’; 28 but I say to you, that everyone who looks on a woman to lust for her has committed adultery with her already in his heart," (Matt. 5:27-28). Jesus is saying that thinking lustful thoughts is sinful. Therefore, masturbation involving sexual fantasies (at least not of one's spouse) is undoubtedly sinful.

Think about it. Everything that is good comes from God.

It's not only good it's encouraged with ones spouse!

In Islam, if you're married, you and your wife can have sex the way you both like, except for (i dunno what it's exactly called) fu*kin in the as$ .
And as many times as you both desire, as long as you take a shower when you're done.
And it's considered as a good deed, since it brings you both closer.
