actually the best way to improved cerebral power is to constantly challege your mind. do crossword puzzles, suduxo, chiphers, etc to keep you mind active. they also have all kinds of books you can get at the bookstore (or if you're poor like me you can check out at your local library) about ways to improve memory

You did not say if your memory is declining at a gradual rate or if you are having "episodes" of memory malfunction. If you are in good health, regularly challenging your memory with picture puzzles and word games will keep your dendrites synapsing. If you drink alcohol on a daily basis or if you do not consume enough water, you may have memory loss associated with brain tissues being dehydrated. there r 2 many ways to improve memory out of them some are
do meditation
relax after studying
avoid wasting time on net and watching t.v
talk with those frnds whome u like the best
peoples who irritate u a lot stop conversing to them if possible
i know these all things r not related to 2 ur answer but by doing all these ur mind will get relaxed and automatically
ur memory will improve.
follow this if u find it right.or else neglect it.
and also try to solve ur all mental as well as physical and moral problems because this will also make u relax.

There is nothing like improvement in memory power. It is the matter of alertness or importance u give while learning or knowing things. It also matters on how often u come across those things again & again.
To gain that alertness, that is to stop ur mind wandering while learning , yoga & meditation will help u.

try meditation ,may be prayanam or simply pronouncing and concentrating on "om" or just breath deeply in & out while breathing in think you are taking in all the goodness from nature inside you that will detoxify all the toxic elements aquired by the body and while breathing out think you are expelling out all evils and bad things out of your body,OR any other method of meditation that you know.Medidation improves brain power to concentrate on subject.good concentration is key to good memory.
you shoul write donw important issues in diary and read it as often as possible.make your daily/monthly/weekly planner.

keep your day plan in front of you .

Practice medidation twice daily for 1/2 an hour daily ,this will surely help if done properly.

I've heard taking a natural vitamin like ginkgo biloba etc can improve memory,vitality etc. check with your local health food store or wal mart on what natural vitamins does what.
