Considering that it took Toyota about four years to make the move from the Craftsman Truck series into the Bush and Nextel series, I doubt you'd see Honda even approach NASCAR any time in the near future. Also, with Toyota pulling out of most of its non-NASCAR racing ventures, that gives Honda a large playing field in which to exert its dominance. Honda has been one of, if not the top engine builder in IRL & CART for the last few years. I don't see them taking away from that to be the new kid on the block in NASCAR.

no. it's to late for 2007 and honda tends to stick to more open wheel racing. but i wouldn't be suprised to see them in the next 3 to 5 years

From the rumors from Honda they are sticking to their IRL and cart/open wheel program and are not intrested in the NASCAR world at this time.

I hope not and I don't think Honda should be able to join nascar. Nascar is an AMERICAN sport - cars and sponsors should be from american companies.
