Well, time is irrelevent to God. Since He can operate OUTSIDE of the constraints of time.

Why He would choose to brush teeth would be a mystery since He would not have decay and therefore not need to brush... He also wouldn't have bad breath either.

I Believe it reads a Day is as a Thousands Years.
Adam would die in the "Day" (thousand years) that he ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Adam lived Physically, almost a Thousand Years after he Disobeyed GOD.
Adam died Spiritually, Instantly after he ate from that Tree.
When Adam ate from the Tree, he Instantly disconnected himself Spiritually from the Creator (LIFE) and connected himself Spiritually to Satan (DEATH), and all of his Kids (us) too.
Everybody since Adam is born on this Earth disconnected from the Creator (Spiritual LIFE) and is Doomed unless they get Reconnected to the Creator (nowadays, getting Born-Again through Jesus) BEFOR they Leave the Earth for Good.

I have heard that too, but I don't know how accurate it is. I think it takes him just as long to brush his teeth as it does you.
