There is none. Years and skin type hide scars somewhat. Old men in their late 80's still got scars from the war. It never goes away completely. Operational scars such as on stretch areas like the elbow will become fresh pink and will remain that way for years and slowly turn to skin color(but remain different with a sheen) more years(like 20+)
Makeup is your only bet.

If you are desperate or just want fast results:
Laser Removal of Pigmented Spots

Dark spots on the skin can often be effectively removed when treated with the Q-Switched Ruby laser. The laser works by passing a special laser light through the skin and this light energy is selectively absorbed by the dark pigment of the brown spot. The absorption of the light energy results in the partial destruction of the dark pigment and then over 4 to 6 weeks following the treatment, your body's own defense system carries away the remainder of the shattered pigment particles.

if it's still a "scar" (in other words still healing) you can try neosporin because that really doesn't help reduce scars. if not there are a couple products over the counter like mederma that are supposed to really help, they just take a while to work.
if it's a really bad scar you might have to talk with a plastic surgeon about fixing it.
