What not believeing in god makes us negative? Ummm I am much happier than I waas when I believed in god. So yeah I am positive minded, which I don't think is even a real term. But yeah I'm positive and I think all atheists are.

Sure. I think you'll find most atheists are positive minded. We don't generally think the world is sin-laden, as most Christians & Muslims do. We trust that people most of the time will try to live well in their community. We stand in awe of the universe's bredth and complexity, and we enjoy love in our lives.
That's not to say we don't recognize that serious problems exist, but we are more likely to believe that if we focus on solving them, we should reach at least an improvement.
