There is a product called "Sore No More" that was created for bull riders that will help with the pain. You can buy it at any tack shop, and it is an all-natural product. Also, try Osteo Bi-Flex, a combination of minerals that is in 2-per-day pill form. It really helps. Now, if you want a very old remedy, try taking white raisins and soaking them for seven days in gin. Then eat nine gin-soaked raisins each evening before you go to bed. Older people around here swear by this, and liquor stores struggle to keep gin on the shelves. It takes about a month for both the Osteo Bi-Flex and the raisins before you can tell a difference. Good luck and feel better soon.

Joint pain due to arthritis and other reasons can be reduced and cured by making small changes in the diet and lifestyle of the affected person. Many of the remedies are inexpensive and do not have side effects like allopathic medicines. Check this out for natural, home remedies for arthritis http://aches.in/naturalcuresarthritis.ht...

Well, you have to really determine if its arthritis or not, and what kind of arthritis is- rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. You could also be having spondylitis, muscle pain, an abscess, osteoporosis, kidney stones, etc. Since I don't know enough about your condition, I really can't advise you what to take. I can tell you that the best person to talk about this is your family physician, as he/she deals with this all the time and will know which tests to order.

If you have RA or OA, your physician will most likely tell you to start off with an analgesic, such as acetaminophen(Tylenol), but check with him/her first.

Especially because this is the kind of thing that is a long term issue INVEST in a $20.00 book called The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It explains not only the muscles but where referred pain comes from and how to treat it by yourself. My chiropractor is a muscle specialist and has only had one patient in over 30 years opt for surgery. He is the one who told me about this book because I have a (actually several) system wide problems. At the very least make sure whoever you may see for help is aware of the book where this information is condensed so nicely.

I am under 40 and have arthritis in my right knee. I have gotten great results and relief with acupuncture and regular exercise. I take minimal drugs and acupuncture does not hurt, the needles are the thickness of human hairs, it's terrific. Check your area or ask your Dr. for a referral and it's often covered by insurance. Good luck.

Have you had a diagnosis from an orthopedic specialist? That would be my first thing to do. I have suffered with this for 20 years and finally had to have lumbar surgery (laminectomy) to prevent the spinal cord from being cut off leaving me paralyzed. I have found out that there's nothing like a magic pill to solve the problem but I could not go on without my orthopedic surgeon.

A visit to your local physical therapist may be in order. Physical therapy has been shown to be very effective on back pain. They would give you exercises to perform to help strengthen your abdominals and legs, educate you on body mechanics and functional activities - things you may be doing incorrectly and thus aggravating your back and other things such as joint manipulation/mobilization to free any restricted joint that would aggravate your symptoms and help to improve your mobility.
