Every religion, in its origin recommends peace but few of the people depict it wrongly. After the attack of American Forces on Gulf Countries would you think that Christianity is not a religion? No this is a negative feeling, no preacher has said anything against humanity, nobody asked to kill people in name of religion and if somebody does so, in my opinion he is a fool.

A religion is only as peaceful as it's followers. No matter what the bible might teach, if Christians started executing unbelievers by cutting off their heads, then it would be looked at as violent as well. Muslims, you can claim Islam is peaceful until you are blue in the face, but that won't be true until the killing stops. You cannot stand by and idly claim your aren't one of the violent Muslims, they give you all a bad name. Until you do something to distance yourself from them, you all fall into the same category in my book.

How many were killed in WWI and WWII ?

How many wars between europe?

How many other wars led by Christians?
All these wars were in the name of OPPRESSION and taking the right of others.
Then, Islam is free from what happen in these areas.

yeah, islam is the religion of peace. i believe that all religion is the religion of peace. We should not think that all Islam were terrorist. It was some smurfbrain islam who makes Islam so complicated and be hated by everyone.

shiite and sunni are fighting each other for leadership from time immemorial even up to the extent of killing their founder's (mohammed) wife and child. There is no such thing as a religion of peace, they are all the same thing. for power, influence, and money.

The chaos in the middle east ....and especially in Irak is the cause and effect produced by the U.S. and Israel. Anyone who owns a brain could figure that out. The U.S. and Israel are throwing the logs and watching the bonfire get bigger.

There are extremists in any religion. I follow Jesus. I know a lot of Muslims who respect Jesus' teachings and they are against this extremist stuff.
