Hi,

I am not a vet, but I do have three cats. There are some great sites about cats' health written by vets and assistants. These are no substitute for veterinary care. The good ones will tell you that your cat probably has to see a vet. I found sites by doing a search for the problem. You can search for cat's voice is hoarse and another that there is discharge from the cat's eye.

I believe you should take your cat to a vet to have the proper diagnosis.

Something is not right when an animal sounds hoarse and when there is discharge from an eye. It could be that your cat has an eye infection. The fact that he eats well does not mean he does not have a problem and I believe that he should see a vet.

I hope this helps.

There is no way to make a proper diagnosis from your brief description. Anyone who says they know for sure is not reliable. Your cat does sound like there is probably an infection. It may be a simple virus or it may be a more serious infection that could get worse if left untreated.

If you care about your cat, take the cat to a veterinarian and have a proper exam done. The vet can check for other symptoms and assess how serious the problem is. They can also take tests to see what the problem is caused by if it is not obvious.

If you do not wait and you take your cat soon enough to the vet, the problem will probably be treatable. If you wait until it becomes more serious, it could become more expensive or more difficult to treat - but it could also cause your cat to suffer a lot more than necessary.

It relies upon on the placement. If the canines is whelping a muddle of doggies or a cat has slightly diarhhea then the 1st determination may be to shelter it at homestead to be sure if the placement gets extra appropriate. And whilst waiting people can ask different puppy proprietors in the event that they have any recommendations on a thank you to handle the issue and ask for well-known suggestion. If it would not get extra appropriate then the subsequent determination is the vet. some people do have some hum dingers at right here, yet for the main section the questions are stable, valid ones.

Sounds like your cat has a cold. Pets can get cold in there eyes. I use Polysporin Ear/Eye drops for my pets when they have discharge from their eyes. It is an antibiotic and clears it up. Cheaper than going to the vet and paying for a prescription for eyedrops. The hoarseness should just go away after a few days.

Sounds like your cat has an eye infection and maybe a slight cold. There are many states that have some cat/dog rescue programs that can help. You would just have to check with your local humane society and/or on the internet. Good luck to you.

It could be an upper respiratory infection that makes his eye water or goop up. His hoarse voice could be just his voice. Has it always been that way or is it recent? I would take him to the vet to check it out. Cats get sick very quickly and die very quickly over nothing. have they had their vaccinations?

Cats can have normal eye goo sometimes...but it can also be a sign of an eye infection. I think you should take your kitty in the vet to be sure. My cats have had eye infections and I think it can possibly spread to your other animals if left untreated.

Yes, your cat is sick!
Be a responsible pet owner and get an appointment with a veterinarian ASAP. Your kitty needs vet care.
