Everyone knows Sylvia Browne and other psychics are not always 100% right. Why is it she is being torn up for the mistake she made in the kidnapping case? Yes, it is not good to get it wrong on whether the boy was dead or alive but the parents asked for her help. Don't ask if you think she can offer foolproof information. She is only human and she charged no money.
Any thoughts on this from other believers?

And I dont need to hear how psychics are evil and dont exist. I have proof they are REAL.

I really don't like to give thumbs down, but I gave a bunch. I am SO with you. If she made any "mistake" it was being too definitive. Yes, psychics are real, & yes, some are scam artists. What does this prove? Anything that can be used can be abused, but I know that some people have psychic abilities that are awesome, & just because someone hasn't experienced this is no reason to go spouting off about how evil they are, or that they don't exist. There's rarely "foolproof" information, which is what a lot of people want, or nothing at all. But. Sometimes it IS foolproof. This is just a bunch of nonsense, where people have an opportunity to bash someone else. Bashing is really IN. Especially by the uninformed. To the negative answers, all I can say is: "Thank you for a view of your mind." So silly!

a grimy cheat. A psychic has a tendency to be a exceedingly progressed techniques and no exceedingly progressed techniques has ever regarded on Montel's instruct. somewhat pisses me off exhibits like that - talk approximately "permit dozing canines lie"! i don't comprehend why human beings like staring at different neanderthals being pushed to apoplepsy over some not noted hemorrhage of their pathetic, valueless lives. the answer to this concern? permit's get those previous German gasoline chambers working and allow all those bastards take a bath. Montel, Springer, Maury, the folk who look on the instruct, and, maximum severely, the studio purpose audience all bathing in carbon monoxide. How candy. If I have been dictator reflects of human stupidity alongside with those does not be tolerated. i could go away non secular human beings nicely on my own till they began forced conversions in any sort.

Personally I have always liked Sylvia Brown and I agree with you that not everyone can be right 100% of the time. I have had experiences where I have thought tings that were right and wrong. If asked a question a person will give the best answer from their heart. God chooses certain people to have gifts among others and that person has to be receptive to these gifts. I think that when you have God given talent there is always going to be un-believers that will try to put them down.

I think she is a fraund, and to back up what I have said look at this article I found on wikipedia.

In April 1988 Browne declared bankruptcy[14] and in 1992, Browne and her estranged husband were indicted on several charges of investment fraud and grand theft.[15] The Superior Court of Santa Clara County, California, found that Browne and her husband sold securities in a gold-mining venture under false pretences.[15] In at least one instance, they told a couple their US $20,000 investment was to be used for immediate operating costs. Instead, the money was transferred to an account for their Nirvana Foundation for Psychic Research.[15] Browne pled no contest to securities fraud and was indicted on grand larceny in Santa Clara County, California on May 26th 1992.[14]

On June 6, 1992, the San Francisco Chronicle noted that "Sylvia Brown claimed to have strong psychic 'feelings' that the mine would pay off."[15] Browne excused her inability to foresee her own conviction by claiming that her psychic abilities do not work on herself and calling her critics 'ignorant'.[15]

Court documents show that Sylvia and her estranged husband Kenzil Dalzell Brown pleaded no contest to a felony charge of "sale of security without permit," made restitution, and received one year probation each.[15] Dalzell's disposition included "County Jail 4 months with credit for time served of 21 days," while Sylvia's included 200 hours of community service.[15]

Think of how a great general would defeat the enemy - find a weakness and exploit it. Tear the wall down from within. Skeptics have their weakness now and they will exploit it to the fullest, allowing Sylvia's mistake to speak for itself as "proof" that psychics aren't real.

Nobody can be right all the time? Fair enough but Sylvia Brown is wrong a whole lot. Given her abysmal track record would you take her advice?

Sylvia Brown is a joke. She has had many many many many failed predictions. People are still waiting for the over due Extraterrestrials to land and make themselves known. That was supposed to happen a year or two ago wasnt it? It never happened.

The IRS also was supposed to be shut down completely and our Government would shift to a different means of managing and collecting taxes. The IRS is still in buisiness two years after they were supposed to be closed down.

well, first of all, i don't think that people should invest too much faith in a psychic, after all, there's no guarantee that what they are saying is true or will turn out to be true-so whoever like totally trusted her in the kidnapping case, to me, can't really be disappointed-because you can't really depend on a psychic....some of them are solely for entertainment and aren't always right.

Sylvia Browne makes money every time she opens her mouth, you can't say she isn't into collecting massive amounts of money . I believe there are really talented and gifted psychics out there but she is NOT one of them.

psychics may exist, but i think that woman is a hack. anyone that will tell you on national tv that you're lost wedding ring is on the bedside table in your guest room is faking. psychics don't work that way, and would not be so flippant. i feel bad for that woman because she probably felt all sorts of hope and went home to an empty bedside table.

the ones on tv are the counter culture to televangelists.
