was he happy when he said or did he have the "yeah you pretty much stalk me, it's obvious you like me" tone?

Well, it could mean a couple of things. The worst case scenario is that he's a player and gets off when girls tell him they like him. It feeds his ego so he acts flirty with the girls until they fall for him. Then, once he's satisfied, he moves on to the next girl. But I don't think that's the case here. Or at least I hope it's not.
If you really get the feeling that he genuinely likes you, then talk to him and see if you can get him to admit his true feelings. Since he already knows how you feel, then he should have no fear of rejection. Maybe when he realized you had feelings for him, it scared him a bit, but in a good way. So to hide his insecurity, he masked it by saying that he knew you liked him. Maybe your admittance threw him off and he didn't know how to respond so he said that. But it doesn't mean he doesn't like you. He just didn't feel ready to admit it then.
Either way, talk to him about all this and see how he really feels. I hope things work out!

probably that he doesn't have the balls to tell you he likes you to. or that he doesn't feel the same way and doesn't want to spare your feelings. I have to say though, if he wasn't interested in you at all - he probably would have said it straight up to stop you from going any further.
I say go to him, and choose better words. Don't say something he can slip out of like that. dont make a statement. ask a question like, " about what I said yesterday, do you feel the same way?" or " do you want to go out sometime."
if it makes you less nervous make a joke about it. Call yourself his new obsessive stalker and if he says no just smile and say okay.

It means that you were flirting so much he thought you like him. Ask him what he thinks of you and if he wants to go to the movies or something.

why don't you ask a friend to see if he likes you or you can make the first move and ask him out. Because it doesn't always have to be up to the guy to make the first move sometimes you have to be the first one.

is this all he said? - I suggest you ask openly about HIS feelings. He may: 1- have them but is too shy to share OR 2- not have them and felt uncomfortable wih the revelation.
Either way... ASK HIM OPENLY and save yourself some pain.

he obviously likes u to but is to shy to say anythink. boys dnt show their feeling as much as what girls do dnt take what he sed the wrong way. all hes sayin is he knew that you liked him and if he didnt like you hes wouldnt of sed that.
