I guess it would all depend on which car best suited the team. If you hire a driver that hasn't got any ties to any particular manufacturer then you would have to see which one was the easiest for them to drive and most responsive to the changes required to make it quicker.
On current form however, the Chevy seems to be the car to beat....it is certainly the most consistant at the moment and that's what you need to land the trophy at the end of the season ;)

Now obviously Chevy's have had more wins than any other manufactuer in the history of the sport so maybe. But I really love Dodge too so it would be tough. Never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever woud I go with Ford. The new Toyota's may prove to be better on fuel this though so...

I know nothing of nascar or racing in general, but if I were to choose it would have to be Chevy, good reliable manufacturer probably would make a great muscle car.
