need a little advice plz!?

Question

i've started liking one of my friends, but were not really good friends, and she hasn't noticed yet. i'm trying to figure out what to do, i'm not going to date because that's the fastest way to loose a friend. i don't have a crush on her but i do really like her. the big prob is that we go to diffrent schools, and only get to see each other at church. i'm thinking of stuff we can do together. btw we live in a tiny town and the only thing we have here is a walmart, a few pizza places, and a movie theater

arrange to meet at walmart. have the movie times section of the local paper in your pocket.. better yet, if you have a library, meet there and check out movie trailers on computer for the ones playing in your town.surf together til it gets close to the time, then go see the movie she'd like to see, then go get a pizza and snarf it together. sit & chat for a while, then say you had a really nice time, take her home or call the 'rents when you're done to pick you both up. sometimes is easier in groups when you first start up. group setting=less pressure to make it perfect.

Even though you don't go to the same school, while you are at church see if she would like to go out for pizza and to the movies. Or you can ask a few other friends to come along too.

You've got the classic - rock and a hard place problem. Whichever way you go could be better and could be worse.

My advice is to slow down and try to figure out if you truly like her more then just as a friend. If that answer is yes , then you should make the step and ask her out. Group dates (ie 6 people) going to a movie is an excellent way to start.

Don't try too hard and have fun.

Hmm...Well you should just try to get to know her as a friend and see how your feelings develop. If you still really like her, I say go for it. If she is willing to let something as silly as a break-up get in the way of your friendship, shes not a very good friend in the first place.

well just try to spend more time with her, if you only see eachother at church then suggest going to a movie or for a slice...just play it cool, doesn't have to mean a dating relationship right off the bat.....and btw, isn't a crush someone you really like anyhow?

Well she is not one of ur close friends and u only see her at church so i think u should try and hang out with her. See how much u like her and then if it comes to it go out with her. If it dosn't work out its easy enough to avoid her at church or you can stay friends if its not akward.

invite some frineds round from church including her. maybe get your parents to start talking to her parents and maybe you can be going to her house with your parents. Talk to the church to arrange some youth activities like going to the movies or out to eat.
