Depends on your lifestyle and activity level. If you have a relaxing lifestyle and don't expend much energy, a low calorie diet is completely fine.
Yet only eating cereal and sometimes fruit, while not unhealthy, isn't your healthiest option for eating. Everyone should have a balanced diet of grain, dairy and fat in their diet. The fat doesn't have to be from candy or beef. Nuts are a good source of natural fats and can actually be healthy for you.
Try increasing your diet slowly. Your diet indicates you have a small stomach, that can't handle a lot of food. Eat small meals throughout the day. Start out with two meals a day, then three meals. Get more active as well, because if you feel fine with just one bowl of cereal a day, you're not doing your body any good.
Hope this helps.

My dad did something like that where he would eat only one thing a day and he lost alot of weight, but his health went downhill. It's not a very safe thing to do even if it is something healthy that you're eating. If you're trying to lose weight, then you need to eat three meals a day. A healthy cereal in the morning w/fruit, salad for lunch and then some meat for dinner w/the fat cut off.

Wow thats abit too little for one day meal. You gonna get malnutritioned by the end of the month!. Please balance your daily food intake. At least 3 complete meals. You dont have to eat too much, but be consistent. Maybe you can have that fruits for breakfast, then continue with a proper meal in the afternoon more vege and dinner you may have something light.
Dont get too extreme on both sides ( eating too little or too much) becoz its gonna be unhealthy coz you would see the effects in 1 or 2 years time.
Be consistent with your food and take them at least 3 times a day at least a bit. Do exercise, or the best way is walk a lot.
Good luck.

No this is not a balanced diet. Where are the vegetables and more sources of grain and dairy products and additional fruits?
This is not healthy at all. You need to eat three meals with fruits, vegetables, grains and dairy products.

Try getting some toast also. Get fruit all the time. Depends on the kind of cereal. Try Cheerios, not the honey nut ones. Or Special K. They have fiber, and Iron. Its pretty good for you.

I would not presume to say you are starving yourself- after all maybe you're eating a huge amount of cereal. Nevertheless, you are probably getting too much sugar, too much milk, and not enough of the useful nutrients found in a more balanced diet.

Eating just one type of food is not healthy. remeber the four food groups. If you insist on eating just one type of food then at least find a good multi Vitamin to help replace some of the vitamins you are not getting.
