Sweetheart, if he's saying he wants to wait until 30 to get married, he's definitely not ready yet. I don't know how long you've been dating but if it's more than 2 years, leave. Once you hit the two year mark, if he hasn't proposed yet, he doesn't want to marry you. Bottom line, end of story. Don't make excuses for him and don't waste years of your life on someone who might not be that into you. Good luck!!

Find out why he wants to get married at 30. If you really love him, you will wait and respect his wishes for it. Yet, I think he should also respect your wishes if you wanted to get married at say 26. Find a median and work with it. You have to compromise and communicate what's bothering you. Are you engaged now?

How can you ask a question on yahoo that would determine the rest of your life?? If you have doubts about staying with him then leave!! Why do you want to rush into marriage?? You are too young and cannot know what you want!! Live life first then settle down.

Explore deeper into why he picked that age. Is it that he thinks it will take that long to become financially stable? Communication is important for any relationship. I do not suggest waiting unless his ideals were in line with yours (including time frames).
