I am a freshman in college and I think I'm in love with my RA. She is the most amazing person I've ever met. Here is the situation. She is a senior and has lots of friends. I don't because I'm from out of state and I'm in my first year. She invites me to do things with her and her friends and she has done some little things like move all the way to the other side of the table to sit near me. We have only been alone together once and I met her mom upon her request. Her friends sometimes joke about things getting serious between us and she just smiles when they say this. She shows a lot of interest in what I like and I've caught her staring at me a few times. I want to make a move, but I feel as though since she is the senior and I'm the freshman and since she is the RA and I'm the resident, she should have to make the move. I know she has to be nice as an RA, but she doesn't do things with the other guys on my floor. I know she doesn't have a boyfriend. What do I do from here?

ask her out idiot! women, man, RA, resident..none of this makes a difference. Everyone is terrified of rejection. I'm sure even Brad Pitt himself is scared of asking someone out. Som people let the fear win, and never do it. But think about this...what if there were two people who were in love with eachother and neither one of them had the balls to say it? They would both walk away miserable never realizing that if they had said it, the other would have agreed.

You have to give it a chance

Just wait until she askes you out. you don't want to make a move and although she likes you she wants to stay friends she might change her ways towards you. you never know you might be reading all the signals wrong. just remain friends for now, but if by the beginning of summer brake she has not made a move. you make one. at least if she is not intreasted you have all summer to make it up to her and make sure she knows you can remain the way you were before you mentioned it.

Dude! This is not high school, grow a pair. You in the big leagues now. An NBA rookie does not ask himself if he should play in the All Star game after the fans vote him in. He just does it! She giving you the signs so do what college kids do best, hook-up!

"Let's go get some sushi tonight."
--with a little head tilt and a little smile, eye contact, aaand Freeze, until she answers. And while you're looking her in the eye and waiting, the only thing you should be thinking is ~I want to take you to bed~
