ok, sometimes if i stay up late on the computer or watching tv, i'll start to get drowsy and fall asleep. when i'm in that half awake, half sleeping mode, it sounds like someone is whispering directly in my ear. it's pretty wierd as there's no one there when i jolt back awake. has this happened to anyone before?
i did have a hockey game 2 weeks ago where i was knocked unconscious... maybe its a result of that? or maybe my house is haunted lol. i do know that while they were building the foundation to my house they found tombstones of revolutionary war people. who knows...

i get that too! i've had it for a really long time though, and it has never come to anything. i'm sure it's not a big deal. that being said, i was never knocked unconscious, so it's very possible that has something to do with it. give it a few weeks, and go to a doctor if it really drives you crazy. btw, what do the whispers say? the ones i hear are just saying my name or someone else's name, but they're not at all creepy.

O.k. Now I am not a dr. so I can't tell you for sure if it is because you got hit but, I can tell you what I have experienced.I am 28 yrs. old And I started hearing"whispers' every time I would lay down to go to sleep. It freaked me out bad for a long time I even got a little sleep deprived and anxiety. I even looked into maybe I was schizophrenic but I read up on some different subjects and I also spoke with a "psychic" not the kind you pay. just a local woman. She told me that I should listen to the voices and try to put them with the dreams that I started having. She also told me to say out loud NO MORE, YOU HAVE TO GO NOW, i AM NOT LISTENING ANYMORE I know how it sounds but it worked! I have always had a little :psychic" I guess I just always ignored it. Maybe you should give it a try or think about any past experiences that you might have had. It can't hurt right. If that don't work then you might want to see a dr. hope I could help a little bit!

It could be that you are dreaming and imagining you hear whispers or you are hearing spirits talking to you. They may come to you when you are in a half conscious state.

Try to decipher what is being said or check with a reputable psychic to see if you are sounded by spirits.

Never dismiss the impossible.

When I was younger, I used to lie in bed trying to sleep, and as my mind wandered between consciousness and sleep, I would sometimes hear "talking".

I could hear a voice or voices that sounded like they were speaking a foreign language. If I tried to focus my attention on them, the voices stopped, and I would become more wakeful.

If I just listened as if it were music, I could hear them talk as I fell asleep.

Sometimes it sounded like arguing. Other times it sounded like they were talking to me about something important.

I don't hear them any more. Maybe you grow out of it.
I think its just a dreamlike state that happens just as you drift off.

Its nothing to be worried about its just hypnagogic hallucinations usually brought on by fatigue or stress.
"Hypnagogic hallucinations are dreams that intrude on wakefulness, which can cause visual, auditory, or touchable sensations. They occur between waking and sleeping, usually at the onset of sleep, and can also occur about 30 seconds after a cataleptic attack..."

Ha! Happens to me all the time when I'm tired. Just wait until you start seeing things. Then you know it's really time to go to sleep!
