If the sauce is red, try a good chianti.
If it is a white sauce, try pinot grigio.
For dessert try an ice wine. It is a high sugar wine and is sweet. It is actually like a dessert in itself.
Another good choice would be champagne and dipped strawberries served in the bedroom later on. ;)

Seafood and plain pasta (not a tomato or meat sauce) calls for a white wine. (Red ??? Wrong Everyone)
I'd suggest a Riesling...which is also a very good dessert wine.
If you don't want wine for dessert, try Amaretto. It's great with strawberries !

White wine for the meal, and Inniskillin ice wine for dessert, it is such a decadent treat, trust me!!!!
Red is kind of a ridiculous with pasta or seafood as a GENERAL rule.

Try a dry Chablis for the shrimps. A nice sweet wine like Sauternes would be the ideal wine for dessert.
Bon appétit et santé!!!

A nice white wine with a slightly sweet taste.
Maybe Black Tower, it's a nice wine and is reasonably priced.

Try a nice white Zinfandel....also, you might want to find a liquor superstore and ask the oldest employee you can find (they usually know more) about desert wines to go with your strawberries. Hope this helps.
