We went out once, we are both 20 and are coworkers. We haven't talked in almost two weeks cuz i stopped leaving messages after not getting replies (although her phone had been acting up?). The past 2 days at work have been really awkward around her and I feel like crap/like a jerk, because people have given me the impression she's upset at me. I tried leaving a voicemail but it got bounced back to me, and I'm just too scared to call her. I've thought of what to say, but i can't even say it WITHOUT her on the phone, HELP!!!!!

Okay, you were right about growing "a pair". Here's what you do; wait until work is over with that way it won't be so bothersome while you're at work. Just take a shot of tequila (or whatever your preference is - AND ONLY ONE SHOT), walk up to her in the parking lot and say very casually, "Are we cool?" Now depending on her answer, AND US WOMEN ARE SO VAGUE IT'S LAME, but hopefully she'll give some kind of 'yes' or 'no' answer.

For the 'yes' answer you should reply with, "THEN CALL ME". Be a man (with "the pair") but not a jerk. Remember to smile and be aloof. Walk away and just make sure you're aloof; like you have somewhere to be. She'll go nuts. Trust me.

For the 'no' answer you should reply with, "Whatever, that's cool." Still be aloof. Smile the same and walk away. TRUST ME. Being aloof is what magnetized me to my husband.

I can't tell you how well I've seen this type behavior work. She'll try to be aloof like she doesn't care, but BULL$HIT! SHE CARES!

Don't under estimate us females; we're usually 5 steps ahead. We just let you guys win cause if we don't, it kills the machismo.

Good luck!

Maybe she feels awkward about a relationship with a coworker and changed her mind. Now, she can't own up. If you can't get her on the phone or alone to talk to her about it, write a note and leave it on her desk (just don't use company email as many company track it). Tell her you'd like to know what happened if for nothing else than closure. If she's still interested and her phone really wasn't working, she might be thinking that something happened from your side (in other words, she's thinking similar things to what you're thinking). If she changed her mind, at least you'll know and be able to move on. Good luck.

If you don't know what is going on with her than the only thing that you can do that will lead you to some conclusion is to CONFRONT HER in person. Face it, you don't know if her phone is messed up, if she's mad, or if she thinks you aren't talking to her. Approach her and ask her NICELY, "I've been trying to reach you and I want to know if there is something wrong." If she doesn't give you a straight answer, at least her response or facial expression can give you an idea of where you stand. You have nothing to lose. Give it a try.

You know what to do. This is how it works, you do what you are scared of first then you get the courage to do it after. It's a hard system but it's how it works. Good luck.
