I want the power output (Watts) for following markings on the microwave oven:
Low, defrost, braise, simmer, reheat, max.
Do you know any web site(s) that give these details? Thanks a lot. This is a great help !

Oven is SANYO EM-603M/606M/700M/704M.
The details are not given in owner's manual.

Don't know of any websites that will give you a tabulation of power settings for your microwave, but you can measure the true power output of a microwave by heating water at various power settings and measuring the temperature increase.

Measure the temperature in celsius of 1 liter (1000ml) of water
Heat water on max for one minute
Mix and measure temperature in celsius again.

Specific heat of water:
Cw=4186 Joules/kg/degC
Since:
1 liter water = 1kg
You know that if the water raised in temperature by 5 degrees C that you have a total of 5*4186 Joules of energy from the microwave in one minute -this makes 20930 Joules.

Since:
Watts = Joules per second
Watts(microwave) = Joules / 60 seconds

Watts (this example) = 20930/60 = 348.833

Do this for each power setting (best to always start with cold water) and you will be able to calculate power for each setting.

It should be in the microwave owner's manual.

But note that most microwave ovens vary the duty cycle (on-off cycle) of the microwave tube to change the power settings.
For example, an 800 watt oven set at 50% power would be on for 10 seconds and off for 10 seconds. The average power setting would be 400 watts.
