God gave us the raw materials--and the intelligence to get up off our b**ts and make use of them.

My my what a cynic

God created inventors. He created their brains. He created the schooling, the teachers, the role models, the parents, the tools, the ideas of the inventor.

Therefore, God created everything.

God cut us a little bit of slack because he figured we'd be able to use our brains. He didn't give us the wheel. He gave us the rock. We had to find out how to use it to our benefit.
The problem is, I think God gave us a little too much credit...

some human beings trust that God has continually existed, he's non-stop. He wasn't created and may't be destroyed ever. although there is also data now that some debris can only 'pop' into existence. this would were the clarification for the rigidity you call God. there are a determination of theories, the worry we've is they don't in good structure with the technology that is at the moment understood with the help human beings. it truly is an no longer a possibility question although with the information that we've in the present day that is extremely constrained.

God created the seeds that became us and the Universe. Therefore everything we create through inventors or otherwise was created by Him.

through inventors, god's hands work. not everything is from God directly, people have their callings. No, inventors will not go to hell, they honor their God given gifts.

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to seek it out. If God was a glory hog, he would not say behold my servant Job. The Bible also tells us of great things waiting for us in heaven, beyond even what we can imagine. I personally believe that God has placed inventions and discoveries all over the world and heaven for us to discover. Imagine arriving in heaven where billions of song writers from the ancient nations have been writing songs for thousands of years before your arrival. I would say that God may have known what he was doing when He blessed us with creative gifts.

According to your logic, the only way to honor God is to live, unclotherd, filthy and freezing, in caves.

Houses, clothes, tools. All we 'invented' at some point in history.

Our inventions bring us closer to God. Without the invention of books, for example, the word of God could never have been spread.

I'm not a religious person. I do refuse to hate those who are.

God created a certain number of things including Man (and woman) the crowns of creation. He also gave us a formidable intellect and from now on it's up to us to carry on creating and discovering more laws of nature.
I reckon God is awsome.

Are you serious? Is it not God's wish that we grow into His likeness? He's obviously creative so does it not stand to reason that He would want us to develop the creativity within us? I believe that Christ's parable of the talents would apply here.
