I would go to prom. Prom is an amazing thing, and for some reason is always fun no matter how bad the theme is or the decorations. If you do end up going it is always fun to have an after party with a bunch of friends. You could get drunk and go that way. Or you could just go to a friends house and play Twister, watch movies, or just goof off. Stay up all night and then the next morning find a spot where you can watch the sunrise. But yes you should definitely go to prom.

Ah, the guilt trip. My advice, buy a classic dress you can wear the next four years (or at least two if you don't go again until your senior year), get a hair appointment, do your nails and go. It is one of the many sacrifices we all make for the people we are with.

I would go. Don't let him use you as an excuse to be a poop head. I hate social events and I went to my Prom...I had a great time too...so yeah...go with him.

I would go. Prom is tons of fun especially if you are with someone you are dating. He would have fun either way but garunteed more fun if you went with him. Also, you will have tons of fun. I was never excited about prom until I went junior year and then I wished I had gone more years.

But it really is up to you, whatever makes you the most comfortable.

I missed my Prom because i was too shy to ask anyone out and no one asked me out and it ended up being one of the biggest regrets of my life, so i think maybe you should go. At least you'll have the experience and the memories.

You probably should. Bet he'd love to show off his pretty girlfriend to all his friends.

I think you should, because...well...it`s the Prom. But don`t go if you REALLY don`t want to.
