Some people think of cats as either lazy and useless or as pests. I have a brother who is kind to all animals except t cats, because he says the kitty always eat the food on the table. Some people say that cats never love you back. Here where we live, drivers pull over their vehicles whenever an animal is crossing, even it is a duck or chicken. But they tend to run over the cats. They say that its either you love the cat or extremely hate them. But torturing them is another thing. That is a sign of becoming a serial killer in the future.

I really don't understand that either. I think the meanest I have ever been to a cat was when I put duck tape on the cats paws because I had quilts hung on the wall and she kept knocking them down.

I am an absolute bleeding heart when it comes to animals. I couldn't hurt one if I tried. I mean, I felt sorry for one of my fish because it was lonely. A FISH. I don't understand people who are cruel to animals because I don't have that tendency. One of these days I may do a study on people who abuse animals to see what makes them tick. It could be very interesting.

Some people just have a complete lack of empathy for animals. My brother has this problem. BUT, a person is still responsible for their behavior and while my brother doesn't care about animals he would never be cruel to one.

i actually did my college term paper on the correlation btwn animal abuse when someone is a child, and becoming a violent offender when they're grown. most psychologists say that cruelty to animals is one of the early signs of antisocial behavior in a person. the abusers do it because it gives them a sense of power, some of them even feeling God-like bc they feel they can decide whether the poor creature in their grasp has its life in that person's hands. many times the ppl who do this are abused as a kid, therefore they feel powerless. abusing animals gives them a sense that something in their life is within their control. many serial killers started out as animal abusers when they were children. most of them also came from abusive homes.

Why do some people do mean things to cats............Hmmmm, cuz they're sick, twisted, out to lunch, not playing with a full deck, a few sandwiches short of a picnic basket? Need I say more?

Yes indeed it is a very cruel thing to do to any animal cowardly and sic people like to hurt aniamls it makes them feel big...I reackon they must have been abused as a child.

I don't know why people are mean to ANY animal. I think there's a special place in Hades for people who are mean to animals.

They also stick fire crackers up there behinds. They have a mental problem and anger issues. They are cracked in the head!
