I believe ghosts are real, I have had many experiences that support this. The most compelling of which was my 4 year old daughter telling me how my grandmother had died (in detail including what had caused it and how she felt) 2 weeks after her death. I had no contact with this side of my family for years so the only thing I was aware of was that she had passed on, but I was not interested, and had not mentioned it to my kids at all. Just in case you're thinking she may have heard me talking about it (which was highly unlikely as it was a mere "oh she's dead" and I was unaware of how she died), she also called her by a nickname that I had never heard before, that my dead grandfather used to call her. My daughter called her a fairy because she could fly.

Voodoo as stated before is a religion and therefore real, but I think you are asking if there is any power to voodoo, and the only thing I can say to that is that I believe in the power of positive and negative thinking, and that we have the ability to influence our surroundings with the energy we put out there.

In 1969 the Australian Socceroo's captain tried to get some extra help to win a game in Mozambique to get into the 1970 World Cup, so he enlisted the help of a witchdoctor. The Socceroo's won the game, but the captain refused to pay the witchdoctor's fee and the witchdoctor supposedly reversed the curse and put it on Australian soccer instead. Ever since then we have been unsuccessful in qualifying for the World Cup. This is obviously VERY circumstantial evidence and by no means do I even believe in it myself (aside from the power of positive and negative energy) and it is more likely that the Socceroos just sucked (sorry guys... love you dearly!!!). HOWEVER... a popular Australian comedian John Safran had a TV show called "John Safran vs God" in which he would explore all religions around the world. In one episode he looked into Voodoo curses, and went to Mozambique to see if he could get the curse on the Australian Socceroos lifted. He had to go through some SERIOUSLY GROSS stuff, and that alone is enough to put me off ever approaching this religion lol. At the next World Cup... the Socceroos got in! It was their first since the curse had been made back in 69. Coincidence... who knows? But it's a damn good/funny story anyway!

As someone that practices vodou yes it is a religion. It is practiced throughout the united states and various other countries. Spirits are a big part of the religion of vodou so therefore ghosts would are real. I have experienced both of these things and they are very real to me.

We don't worship Satan or anything like that. Vodou is a monotheistic religion that honors Bondye or God. We honor our ancestors because without them we would not be here. We serve the lwa (spirits similar to angels or saints) to help use in our everyday lives. There is nothing evil or sinister about it. We embrace helping the community, family, honor, respect, and above all else love. I am sure there are some that abuse the religion. It is like that in every religion but the majority of the practices are totally positive. I have been healed numerous times without even asking. It is real and it is a beautiful thing.

I dont believe in ghosts as I cannot comprehend how a dead person could come back and haunt you. They should already be brought over to the next 'dimension'. However, I firmly believe that there are supernatural beings called 'djinn'. In the East, the black magicians use these creatures to do their biddings. I am very sure the Catholic church recognise this being as well. We are told that not all djinn are bad. Like human beings, they have the good ones and the bad ones. The evil djinn, like the satan and the devil, wrecks havoc among human kind.

Ghosts? I sincerely doubt it.

Voodoo? Yes Vodun is an actual religion. The name is traceable to an African word for "spirit". Vodun's can be directly traced to the West African Yoruba people who lived in 18th and 19th century Dahomey. Its roots may go back 6,000 years in Africa. That country occupied parts of today's Togo, Benin and Nigeria. Slaves brought their religion with them when they were forcibly shipped to Haiti and other islands in the West Indies.

The evil, imaginary religion, which we will call Voodoo has been created for Hollywood movies, complete with violence, bizarre rituals, etc. It does not exist in reality.

When I was growing up me and my family went to church everyday it was open.An now grownup I may not go to church anymore but I still very much believe in GOD and I believe in ghosts.I have never seen a ghost but I have had strange things happen I can not explain. My favorite thing to say on the subject is this. To nonbelievers no amount of proof is enough. For believers no proof is needed.

Yes there is true ghost and voodoo. It is of Satan. God condemns evil, but this is how Satan gets people. Read the book He Came to Set the Captives Free.

No they are not real, they are just our imagination, they come and they go like any other thought. Think, if any magic like Voodoo would have been true, half of the world would be trying to go to south africa to get their animies suffer and the rest of the world would have been suffering through pain because of those.

Vodoun (or Voodoo) is a religion.

Ghosts are spirits of those who have not yet made it to the next life.

I hope that helped. (:
