I went out this past weekend and saw this really pretty girl with her friends having fun and at some point, our eyes met and now and then I 'd catch glancing at me. I saw her whisper something to one of her gf's. Towards the end of the night, she and her friends stood really close to me and she gave this stare. I smiled back at her, and she had this shy look on her face. She whispered something to her 4 gfs and they were all looking me over from a distance. Man, I wanted to go up to her, but what should I say. I'm really getting to a point now where I'm beginning to get the courage to walk up to a girl - but I'm scared to do it when they're in packs. It's really hard to talk to a girl if she is with her gfs. What should I do ? Do you think she liked me. I don't know what it is, but girls tend to stare at me alot - I 'm not really sure why. This one is really something - I don't see her often, but I would like to get to know her. I'm really really shy though.

It's pretty obvious that she could like you, I suggest the next time she stares at you smile and do a small wave and see how she reacts. If she reacts in a positive way then the next time you get closer to her just say "Hi" and walk away..
I'm a girly flirter who stares I'm used to this stuff, hehe.

People make so much out of this. Its simple, just walk up, say hi and ask her what her name is as well as introducing yourself, let her know you have seen her around and if she wants to go out some time. If you still feel that uncomfortable than strike up a conversation. Music, Moves, recent event, the weather, friends, ask if she knows so and so, or if she is friends with so and so. It doesn't matter if you make up a name, the idea is to get a conversation started.
As for when to talk to her, well you can do it when she is around her friends, but the best is when she is alone. Try not to do it while she is walking some were, like from point a to point b. For example, if you were to pick up girls at the mall the best time to do it isn't while they are walking from one store to the other, but rather in the store, or at the food court. Get it?
Don't think to much, just do it.

..Well i think that u should walk over to her and start a convershation with her becasue if u dont then u will just be wonderign why didnt i do that on so stupied for not goin gover to her..So i say that u go up to her and talk to her...And if u dont then u dont know what there could of been and if u dont like her then just tell her i think she will understand..So i think u cant say i will and dont do it u have to start somewhere and if u dont start now then u wount ever be able to do it in the future.. I think that if u start talking to girl it will come easy to u when u see that perfect girl looking at u... So dont satand bake and let everyother person take the girl that u have ur eye just on go for it

If you really like this girl, then go for it. From what i read, it seems like she was really into you, and she was waiting for you to make the first move. Everyone is shy at first, but if you don't make a move, she might think you're not interested. Just be subtle at first and don't put yourself totally out there, just in case. Start a friendly conversation with her, and see how it goes from there. Good luck! :)

Yeah that's hard.
Mainly because you're freaking out and afraid of public rejection. But here's a trick that usually works--go up and talk to one of her friends. Just to say hi, like she's a guy--you don't care about her, so it's not stressful. Then you'll introduce yourselves, and she'll introduce her friends--and soon you'll be talking to everybody, including her. Plus you get the added benefit that her friends think you're OK, before you start going after her.

As a girl, There are two reasons we would do that.
One, you could of had something in your teeth or something. lol
or Two, the girl most likely likes you. And if she was whispering about you too your friends, its means she isn't embarrased about liking you. Which means if you walk up to her with all her friends around, she will most likely smile at you and her friends will laugh and leave you two alone!!

Here is the thing..she saw u from afar so therefore there is no way she can "like you" perhaps she just thought u were cute thats all..girls that hang in packs are immature and childish so in essence approaching her would be a waste of time

It could be because you had out of style clothes on, a boogy hanging out your nose, or toilet paper hanging out your pants-or stuck on your shoe. But if they were staring like you say they were, they probably were hoping you'd go over and talk to them. Lose your fear and talk to the girl, and her girlfriends too. I'd say 99% they were looking at you because they thought you were hot. You know eye candy!

Ya! Go up to her, what do you have to lose? NOTHING!
I am a senior in H.S., and I think, from experience, you should approach her. It takes the pressure off of her. Its not like she was making fun of you to her friends! She was prob attracted to you! If you do decide to go up to her be like "Hey, my name is ________. Whats up?" This way, she can't really REJECT you, cause you are simply introducing yourself.
Keep it simple, and NEVER use a line. OR come off like a perv. That is so gross, such a turn off. LOOK AT HER EYES when you are talking, too.
