I know that the answer is "move on and find one that does" but it just seems more and more guys are not willing to get involved in a committed relationship. Of course, a girl doesn't want to manipulate the situation, but is there something that the guy is wanting to hear from the girl? What is a guy's fear in getting involved exclusively with a girl??

Once upon a time, when us guys were young, we fell in love with a girl. And the world was perfect.

And then she smashed our hearts into a million pieces. We felt like we were going to die... but we didn't.

When we finally picked ourselves up, we became predominantly interested in being loved, but actually not loving others because this is safe and still makes us feel really good about ourselves. Having to get too serious with any one girl disrupts this. Not being constantly involved in 'the chase' makes us weak. Not having the time to continue advancing our attractiveness (on a number or merits) is threatening.

While you are in a very intimate setting (e.g. bed), ask him about what he wants to do with his career. Ask where he would ideally like to live. Get him to think specifically enough that he is picturing a specific home in his mind. Then ask him about something domestic like who he would like to cook [his favorite food] for him when he's doing his dream job in his dream place. Keep going down this path with doing domestic things for him. If you can get him to picture exclusively you in his end game and feel really comfortable with this picture, it might retrack his brain.
Now start adding in your goals into his picture. What if we had [x kids]? What if I was a [your future occupation]? If you can get him happy about this end game featuring the both of you accomplishing your goals, you will be set. Now just get him to start proving this out by taking almost jokingly small, nonthreatening steps that prove out his commitment to the joint end game. Build on these while continuing to reward him physically for taking even the smallest, half-joking steps. Keep building.

some times the less you say the better off you are. Obviously you're dating guys who are immature and are too young to make a decision to be in a committed relationship. Maybe date some one who is a little older. There really is no fear in becoming involved with some one. Its just a matter of settling down and remaining faithful to one person some guys just don't want to do that they want to play around.Find some one a little older and wiser or some one who is serious and really likes you as a good friend.

Some guys are willing to stay committed. they're rare, but they're out there. You just have to keep looking. Chivalry is not dead yet.

A guys biggest fear with getting involved in a relationship is probably his fear of the unknown.

ohh God, i ask myself that question everyday. I'm definitely the type of girl who's decisive and knows what she wants. It's frustrating when guys don't have a clue what they want. I think guy's have the fear of a "committment - it's been said in statistcs that guys live for "doing" things - their careers - emotional and intimate relationships come last and usually after they've found their "calling" in life - i know it's soo frustrated - but this is what makes me feel better - meet older guys! :)

He's just not that into you. Guys don't have any fear of committment, that's horse crap. If he were really into you, then he would settle down with you. If not, then nothing you can say or do will make him feel that level of attraction toward you.
