When I put in my disc in my DVD drive, it sounds like it's reading it and all that stuff but it won't start PowerDVD. When I loaded the program and hit play, it said

"A disc with an unsupported format in drive @:"

Um, help? I have a Windows XP..if that helps anything *shrugs*

No, the DVD I'm trying to play isn't ripped. It's a DVD I've played a couple of times before.

Quite often there can be issues with especially 'ripped' DVD's (if that is indeed the case)...

Also sometimes DVD players only play certain 'regions' or they might be set to only playing PAL or NTSC..

Chances are something has become corrupted in the Power DVD setup. You might try reinstalling the program to see if that does the trick. If not, an alternate player might work for you....there's a free one available for download called VLC (or Video LAN) at the below website that I use often. It'll play just about any video type file, including DVD's in a drive. The link for it is below. Good luck.
