First of all, it depends on the guy. Not all guys like the same thing. If you're interested in a particular guy, find out what he likes! Seems that guys like a little variey though. Try curly styles a few days and straight styles the other days. Keep their attention by trying new things, which can also help you decide what YOU like the best.

Let's see....my preferences:
Natural look - not obviously over done at Chez Salon. Wavy, curly, or straight, if it looks too contrived, then it's too contrived.
I don't like the greasy look. Don't like it on guys or girls.
I don't like the out of control just-got-out-bed frazzled wild look. Makes a guy think the girl might be a slob.

I would say wavy/curly. It takes more to maintain and would suggest that the girl takes good care of the rest of her body as well.

On girls? i generally prefer straight and very short.. even military buzz cut short.. on guys I generally prefer very long and semi straight.. what can I say? I like my girls on the boyish side and my guys on the girlish side..
Asian guys/ girls are the only exception to that i prefer long dark and straight on both

Personally hair is the least of my concerns; as long as it's clean, I don't quibble much.

I have straight hair and my boyfriend dumped me. Maybe if it were curly we would still be together....
