If you do not feel like "you are going to make it past this weekend", go get help. Go to your local hospital and check yourself in. You are too important to sit around and wait to see what happens. If the meds you are on are not working for you, there are plenty others out there. That is why there are so many different kinds. You may need to have a doctor do a workup that will combine a few different one that will work for you to help you feel better and more like yourself. Good luck.

Something I have read that is very valid here is if you diagnose yourself with a medical condition and treat yourself, you have a fool for a doctor (an untrained doctor). Even doctors (and often their own family members) see other doctors when they get some illness.

Sounds like you need to see a doctor. Usually there are valid reasons why people feel how they do. Pills tend to provide a small protection from the level of emotion they feel. Pills in this case can do more harm than good, without a guide on how to face and get through the troubles that woe them.

There are some people that have imbalanced neurotransmitters and drugs (crudely) correct these imbalances.

Anti-anxiety drugs are powerful drugs and maybe you are reacting badly to the drug, or maybe there are other forces at play, only a trained psychiatrist or psychologist would be able to provide a diagnosis.

In Australia, I would be trying to get admitted to hospital for this.

Call a friend or family member to come take you to ER. You need to be evaluated.
