I have never heard of this kind of visa and also don't know what countries you are referring to?? Wish I could help more. I would best advise you to check online or call the embassy/consulate to obtain information about the requirements, fees, time frames, forms, and eligibility/requirements for the visa. Make sure to include your name, passport number, contact information, and keep a record of everything. Government websites usually have a contact e-mail or number to be reached and you should hear from them promptly. If not then going there in person may be more productive but be sure that you set an appointment or ask if you may come without one so as not to waste a trip. Keep all documents on file and have them with you at every interview. Be patient and continue asking them questions until you have the full details. And lastly, keep in mind that the embassy knows best about explaining the process. Always go by what they say rather than rumors of others. Because policies and requirements can change so it is best not to disappoint yourself nor to mislead yourself to unnecessary worries. Best of luck to you.

Hi Mark,

I know what you mean by Interdependency Visa. But again it depends on which country you wanna live in. Not all countries officially accept Interdependency relationship, some countries might not honour/recognise them.

I remember Australia do have such a visa. Well, i'm sure many other countries do have as well, try to check on the individual country's immigration website, they will be the best reliable source of information.

Thank you,
Jenny McGillemhaoil.

Are you referring to the Australian Interdependency Visa?

This visa is primarily used by same sex couples.

To be eligible you must have been in a genuine and continuing relationship with an Australian citizen for 12 months. Also you must show that you have been living together for 12 months.

You need to give more information: which two countries do you mean, to begin with - the country of the citizenship of the foreign national, and the country where he or she wants to live. I've never heard of a type of visa by that name, so can't help you without further info.
