Breastfeed, exercise at least every other day and stay away from fast food and junk food. Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. You should start out w/ moderate walking as soon as you feel up to it, and after 6 weeks you can most likely do more vigorous exercise w/ your doctor's approval. Aerobic along w/ weight lifting is important b/c muscle burns more calories than fat (10 vs. 3 in an hour per pound of muscle or fat). Also, exercise raises your metabolism so you can eat more and still lose weight!!

Breastfeeding. Generally recommended to breastfeed early and often, and then start Weight Watchers for nursing moms at around 8 wks post partum. Your first few weeks just enjoy your baby.

I lost 25 lbs in the first 8 weeks by breastfeeding alone. Then I lost the last 11 lbs I gained doing the WW nursing mom program in the next 6 weeks.

Good luck!

if you breast feed it helps a lot with losing the weight. Just eat healthy and rest for the first six weeks. Then start going for walks. Most doctors will suggest not doing much for the first 6 weeks so your body can get used to its adjustments. They will tell you no sex for 6 weeks or until you are healed down there. For my sister they told her no sex for six weeks and not to work out for six weeks, if she has the strength when shes past 6 weeks post pregnancy then she can start going for walks and such then at the next post pregnancy appointment she asked how long until she could actually go to they gym and they told her she could start going as long as she took it easy and did mostly upper body (arms sholders neck and back) and walking for a while then she can work on her belly butt and legs.

just dont put yourself on a diet just yet. your body needs all the nutrients it can get for the weeks after pregnancy.

Stripping or pole dancing at home for 6 hours a day. You can start when the doctor says you can, usually when you feel like it.
