Oh so i recently bAUGHT the most cutest pitbull for 200 dollars from a back yard breeder ,wen i got him, he was a little underweight, so i thought hey, maybe becuz he wasnt the strongest of all, i noticed his appetite was not a normal one, he'd barely eat, keep in mind he's 6 weeks and weighs 3.02 kb. So on the third day poor baby threw up a hook worm, so i immedietly took him to the clinic, he got dewormed, they said he was so infested that the worms were sucking his blood, making him amneic, hypothermic, low temp(97.4) and diagnosed him with commidia, he then got a blood/ transfusion, and 2 liquid trans. now, he barely eats, so i went to the vet, and got him rebouund, and iuse a sorenge both solutions for his food/water. he also takes 2 medications to help with diarea, and vommiting, as well as a medicine for vitamins, he wont eat anything, no dog food, turkey, baby food, ground beef, nothing, so im forced to forcefeed him to keeep him alive, any help!?!? his temp is now 99.4!!

I got a rescue pit at three weeks old and she was pretty sick. It took awhile to straighten out her health but once she got rid of parasites, etc she has been very healthy.
Yours sounds quite a bit sicker. Ask your Vet what else might be needed. I wish I could help you with something more to say but I don't know more than your Vet does except that if this puppy survives you will have a dog that will be extremely loyal and loving and worth every moment of the pain of helping him make it.
I hope he does.

At least his temperature is going up. Normal temperature for a dog is 101-102. I would call the vet and ask when his temperature will go up.

I only had one dog that had hookworms a puppy I got for free... however he was a bit older then yours. I do remember his gums being very pale. Have you checked the color of his gums?

The vet did the right thing by giving him a transfusion.. I don't know what you refer to as rebound.

He may need to get healthier before his appetite comes back. Make sure he gets plenty of water. Also recheck with your vet on appetite, if your not happy go to another vet for a second opinion. Maybe you can try to give him some water with electrolytes in it. My friend gave it to her dog when he will was ill and it worked well.

You need to read this breeder the riot act, and ask for a refund. Your's is a sad story. Good Luck and God Bless.

Ok well lets see here. You got it from a BYB when you should have went to http://www.petfinder.com to find a pitbull that would be up for adoption for the same amount and he wasn't even healthy looking when you got it. Ok well you are in for a long road and I hope you dog lives. He shouldn't have left his mom until atleast 8 wks that is one problem. If he is still really bad then you need to call your vet and see if there is anything else you can do. Keep doing what you are doing with the meds. If you can keep him hydrated that is the first step. They can go much longer without food than water/liquids. Are you using puppy formula to suplement for moms milk and give him more nutrion. Just keep force feeding him and giving him the meds and vitamins and do it often as he would still be nursing often if he was with mom. Good luck

If the dog is so sick that he won't eat, he should be at the vet hospital so he can get round the clock care. He should be on IV's until he is eating good. If your vet will not keep him, find another one who will. I am sorry he is so sick. I hope he will be okay.

Sorry that I don't have any advice for your puppy but please report the inhumane breeder that you got him from
if your pup is sick can you imagine how many more are also sick or have even died, due to this irresponsible breeder
