Thanks for this great question

First, I would immediately start planning and organizing. I've been planning my whole life to set some money aside for charity. Sadly, there are so many homeless people that don't have the things many of us have. So I would most definitely donate 25 or more percent to charity. Then I have many people I owe money to, and I need to pay off debts. That would take about 10 percent. With the rest, I want to buy a really nice house in Florida, where my whole family and I could stay. That would be really nice. And I want to also use it for college; my lifelong dream is to become a pediatrician.

First thing, I'd talk to a financial attorney. I'd get fiscal shelters set up so I could live off interest the rest of my life. Then from there, I would figure out the budget needed to take care of the big ticket items I would need and want- house, car, furniture, appliances, etc. I'd pay off debts and long standing bills. Then maybe take a trip to Japan. That's about it.

If I won that much money I would first put it in the bank where it will start drawing interest till I decided what I would do with it. One of the things I always wanted to do with money if I had enough would be to give to the poor and homeless. I know how hard it is without money to pay your bills.

I would invest it and draw the interest. I would take a LONG vacation too. I would still probably work part time to supplement the interest income. At 30, I could not retire completely on a million, but the interest would sure help out alot! Ahhhh, one can only dream!!!

I would sock it away and live off the interest. Imagine making 5 or 6 % on a million bucks

Give thanks to the Lord. Set aside the 10% tithing; then check to see how much I have to pay on taxes. Pay off any debts and put some into investment; then buy my children the cars they so desperately need. Smile.

Pay off all of my bills, put enough aside for me to finish college, pay off my sister's student loans and give her enough to finish college and grad school, pay off my parent's bills and my in laws' bills, then grandparents, and if there's anything left, put towards a custom built home made by one of the top home architects in this area.
