Can one major as a Civil Engineering technologist and still go on to become a Civil Engineer or Architect?

Sure. You'd just have to go back and finish up the courses that are part of the engineering curriculum.

to become a civil engineer from your background is a matter of transferring to a program that would honor the engineering classes you've taken (or at least some of them) and taking the rest of the necessary courses, since they are both in the same field.
going into architecture is a whole new story. architecture programs have required design courses for each semester and most of the "non-design" courses (like materials and methods, architectural history, environmental technology, etc.) are made for architecture majors and are not offered in other fields. none of your engineering courses would count towards your required architecture courses (except for electives maybe). but CAN you transfer anyway.... ofcourse, it would just take a little longer, that's all.

Yes. Find a university that recognizes the courses you have already completed. Transfer your courses and finish the degree requirement for either engineering or architect.

some universities or colleges provide transfer programs for technologists to go through and get their degrees
