It is a complete myth that if you shave it it will come back darker and thicker...think about it, haven't you known a guy that shaves his head every two weeks? I shave my arms and have no problems...I do it once maybe twice a week and it definitely does not grow back coarser or thicker

No consequences. You just wont have any hair on your arms. It is a myth that if you shave your hair comes back coarser and thicker. Whatever hair you have before you shave will be the same hair that grows back. It feels thicker because when it is short its at its thickest, once it grows out it will be the same.

If that is what you want to do, go ahead and do it. Be yourself.

The hair will simply grow back, but it will not grow back any thicker, darker or coarser than it was before you shaved it. There are no physical or health issues with shaving your arms. I used to lift weights and did it, shaved my arms, I mean. No after effects. But use a new blade if you do. Nicks suck! Take it easy! Later!!

There are none. I've been shaving my arms for almost a year just because I like how smooth arms feel. At first it may seem like it grws back fast but definately not thicker. After a while, your hair acually starts comming back thinner!! I only have to save like once a week now :)

Wow! You too? I can't say I've ever met or spoken to anybody else that shaves their arms like me... My friends think I'm nuts, but I hate body hair. I have been shaving my arms for nearly 10 years and there are no side affects. I could even go onto say that it hasn't changed the hair (arm hair is naturally finer that leg hair), sure you get stubble but it's not like the stubble you get on your legs.

The hair on your arms won't grow back thick or anything, it will grow back just the same, use a new razor,I had to shave my arms for swim racing.

DOOON"T!!! thicker AND darker hair will grow back. anyways hairless arms are soo unnatural looking not to mention arms with stubble look even worse! i have a friend who did that. she had what liked to call "ape arms" though i really didn't think it was that bad. actually i have her on the phone right now. she has a message..."NOOO, it was pretty much the worst thing i did for my appearance. After i started shaving, i wasn't allowed to quit. Even if i didn't have time i had to do it everyday because it looked horrible if i didn't. There is no way to hide it."

OMG SHAZING DOES NOT MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW BACK THICKER THAT IS BULL ****!!!
The only problem with shaving your arms is you have to do it like every day or ...get them waxed or laser hair removal.
