The key to a good sandwich is a minimum of 6 ingredients not including the bread. Different breads like Ciabatta and Foccacia make amazing sandwiches because they are absorbent and take on the sauce/mayo. These 6 should include some veg, some sauce, some protein and variations in texture and flavour. If you follow that general rule, you'll never be disappointed.
