What would you want? Would you want a promise ring, and make the rings ya'lls thing? Or anything? What would be a great symbol of committment, that would mean the world to you?

The only thing I ever promise a girl is that she will be calling my name in the middle of the night. I never make a committment to any women, I just don't think that they are worth it.

I dont think you need to give anything back, but just your reaction when we give you the ring. Normally guys really dont need anything back they just want your continues affection. So, I say continue doing what your doing it must be right if you got a promise ring.

LOL< guys don't care about this crap. The ring crap etc, we do for girls and women. Guys are happy with a beer and a ballgame and if you are giving bj's still. Honestly if a guy cares about all that gushy stuff, than he is either gay or softer than butter. That is an honest answer.

i gave my husband a ring that he considers a promise ring. i also game him a necklace with 2 small rings on it - on with my birthstone on it and the other his birthstone. it looked very manly and that was kind of like a promise thing.
